Aromas of grapefruit, toasted coconut, and pineapple, giving way to black cherries and oak in the cup. Bright and citrusy, with a complex finish.
Uluwehi Farms is a new farm planted 3 years ago in Holualoa, Kona at 1900ft elevation. The farm is planted half with Red Bourbon, half with SL34. Both varieties grown from seeds of trees Miguel selected for planting and the Hula Daddy Waiono farm a decade ago. The farm was planted by and is maintained by Kraig Lee of Kona farm direct.
We processed this coffee using our Champagne Natural process: Fermenting whole cherries underwater with selected yeast strains which intensified the fruit flavors and gives the coffee a full, silky mouthfeel.
