Paradise’s Espresso Classico is crafted for those who love the comforting harmony of traditional Italian-style espresso. A carefully balanced blend that celebrates sweetness and body, it delivers an approachable yet refined cup — smooth, nutty, and endlessly satisfying.

Character & Style

  • Tasting Notes: Caramelized sugar, roasted almond, dark chocolate
  • Body: Full and creamy
  • Finish: Long, sweet, cocoa-toned
  • Roast Profile: Medium (balanced sweetness & depth without bitterness)

Blend Composition

A selection of Southeast Asian, Central and South American coffees, roasted to highlight richness and clarity. Classico is our interpretation of a classic Northern Italian profile—dependable, elegant, and made to shine on its own or in milk.

93 Points on Coffee Review June 2023

"Evaluated as espresso. Sweetly tart, richly bright. Pomegranate, dark chocolate, narcissus, tangerine zest, brown sugar in aroma and cup. Crisp, satiny mouthfeel, chocolaty, fruit-tart finish. In cappuccino-scaled milk, pomegranate and dark chocolate notes are juxtaposed with narcissus."

"A trifecta of tart fruit, deep chocolate and spicy floral notes, this espresso blend offers further intrigue with its successful inclusion of a Robusta component. Especially rich in cappuccino format."

Brewing Recommendations

  • Espresso Recipe (starting point): 18 g in → 36 g out in ~28 seconds (1:2 ratio)
  • Milk Drinks: Excellent for small cups -cappuccino and macchiato; retains sweetness and structure
  • Grind: Adjust finer for more syrupy body; coarser for brighter structure
  • Water: 92-94 °C / 199–201 °F (aim ~93 °C / 200 °F)

Service & Storage

  • Rest: Best 5–14 days post-roast for peak crema and sweetness
  • Storage: Keep sealed and cool; enjoy within 2–3 weeks after opening

Crafted for everyday excellence, Espresso Classico reflects our dedication to consistency, flavor, and artistry— a cornerstone of the Paradise espresso lineup.

Reviews

Full disclosure, I don't think

"Full disclosure, I don't think I'm any kind of expert that can talk about "notes" and such, I just like good coffee. This is excellent coffee. We use it two ways, when I need full throttle I brew it straight in our espresso maker, we also mix it 50/50 with Paradise decaf, which, by the way, is also top notch. The Classico has the right amount of coffee bite, plenty of flavor and goes down smooth. It doesn't get any better. And if you need decaf, there is nothing close to the Moonbow decaf."

I tried this based on

"I tried this based on coffeereview. com ratings. I drink espresso straight or with a little sugar. 18-19g 25-28 second shot. 9 bar. 28-32g shot. For me this is too dark a roast. I like medium roasts for varied fruity notes of Ethiopian beans, and various earthy notes from south and central American beans. This didn't offer much for me. This might be good as a cappuccino for some people."

What Is 100% Kona Coffee?

100% Kona coffee refers to coffee grown exclusively in the Kona district of Hawai‘i Island — a small, volcanic region
along the western slopes of Hualālai and Mauna Loa. The combination of mineral-rich soil, afternoon cloud cover, and gentle trade winds produces one of the world’s most distinctive coffee terroirs.

To be labeled “100% Kona Coffee,” every bean must be grown within the Kona district and meet strict Hawai‘i grading quality standards. Kona coffee can be made from different arabica varieties, but Kona Typica — a heirloom lineage — remains the region’s most common and traditional cultivar.
