You don’t need new equipment or hours of training to brew great cold brew coffee at home. You can forget waiting in line at the coffee shop and spend the time you saved unwinding on the porch.
Our island style cold brew is a blend of darker roasted coffees to provide a nice chocolatey base along with light roasted coffees to give the blend a liveliness and subtle hints of fruit
COLD BREW IN 4 SIMPLE STEPS:
1. Grind your 12 oz package of Coffee, and place in a large mason jar or jug.
2. Add 4 liters, or 100 ounces, of room temperature water.
3. Steep for 18-24 hours.
Add ice, dairy, condensed milk, bourbon or Kahlua, and serve.
While a coarse grind is most often recommended for cold brew and brewing as a concentrate, the best results we have found have come from brewing with a very fine grind and brewing with more water. 10-12:1 water to coffee ratio
