We thought we would make something fun for the fall. Introducing Kona Pumpkin Spice!
Like our Kona Red Wine Process this is a green bean fermentation. This coffee started out as a traditional Kona Washed Typica which we fermented with the addition of sugar and Hawaii Island grown spices. Cinnamon, cloves, Ginger, and Nutmeg. After fermentation the coffee was re-dried to 10% moisture.
This coffee tastes un-like any other, from Kona or anywhere. Very bright and bursting with warm spices.
The beans lose weight in the fermentation process, and are smaller and darker in appearance than other coffees.
*We recommend using a finer grind than usual or the coffee will brew too fast.
