Designed with a 27° bottom angle, it creates a deeper coffee bed and more controlled extraction—allowing you to simply pour into the center and achieve balanced, sweet, and expressive results.

Made from Eastman Tritan™, a premium BPA-free copolyester known for:

How to Brew with the Deep 27 (Single Cup Recipe)

Designed specifically for one cup, this recipe highlights the Deep 27’s ability to maintain balanced extraction and sweetness.

Dose: 10g coffee
Water: 160ml
Water Temperature: 93°C
Total Brew Time: ~2:15

Pour Structure (5 Pours)

  1. 0:00 — Pour to 30ml

  2. 0:30 — Pour to 70ml

  3. 0:55 — Pour to 100ml, then gently swirl to settle the coffee bed

  4. 1:10 — Pour to 130ml

  5. 1:40 — Pour to 160ml

Allow the coffee to draw down fully. Total brew time should finish around 2:15.

  • Pour steadily into the center; no complex patterns required

  • Maintain consistent flow rate between pours

  • A gentle swirl after the third pour helps even extraction

  • Adjust grind slightly finer or coarser to stay near the target time
