CAFEC Deep 27 Abaca+ Paper Filters

Designed specifically for the CAFEC Flower Dripper Deep 27

These specialized paper filters are engineered to work with the unique 27° deep cone design of the CAFEC Deep 27 dripper. Their shape and structure maintain the ideal air layer between the dripper and filter, allowing coffee grounds to expand fully and form a deep filtering bed for balanced extraction.

The result is a cup with greater sweetness, clarity, and body—bringing out the full character of the coffee.

Why These Filters Are Different

Designed for the Deep 27 Dripper

Unlike standard cone filters, these papers are molded specifically for the narrow 27° angle of the Deep 27 dripper, ensuring proper fit and extraction.

Abaca+ Fiber Blend

CAFEC’s Abaca+ paper combines traditional wood pulp with abaca fibers, creating a filter that is strong, thin, and highly permeable for smooth water flow.

Optimized Crepe Structure

The crepe pattern is engineered with narrower spacing and lower crepe height, increasing surface area so fine coffee particles adhere evenly. This promotes stable flow and consistent extraction.

Stable Extraction Speed

The filter structure helps balance the speed of pouring and extraction, making it easier to achieve repeatable results.


Why Not Use Regular Cone Filters?

Uneven Extraction

Folding a standard cone filter creates overlapping layers inside the dripper, preventing a consistent air layer between the paper and the brewer.

Disrupted Coffee Bed

The overlapping paper can cause uneven distribution of grounds, preventing the formation of the deep sedimentary layer that the Deep 27 brewer is designed to create.

For best results, dedicated Deep 27 filters are strongly recommended.
