Espresso Nuevo — Crafted for Milk, Balanced for All

A contemporary classic—bold, creamy, and endlessly versatile.

Estate & Origin: A Blend of Distinction

Espresso Nuevo is an artful composition, bringing together coffees from Latin America and Asia, roasted with precision to create a foundation that shines in milk. Each origin contributes depth and nuance—chocolate and spice from South east asia, balanced with brightness from Central and South America—woven into a modern espresso of richness and clarity.

Character & Style: Bold, Creamy, Versatile

Designed first and foremost to excel in milk-based beverages, Espresso Nuevo creates a luxurious balance—chocolate, caramelized sugar, and warm spice enveloped in a velvety texture. Its integrity holds beautifully in cappuccinos and lattes, yet it also stands alone as a refined straight espresso. Beyond the espresso bar, its smooth balance makes it equally compelling as cold brew or pour-over.

93 Points — Coffee Review

“Deeply sweet, balanced… versatile and compelling.”

The Signature Expression of Paradise Espresso

Espresso Nuevo is the cornerstone of our espresso offerings: bold enough for modern milk beverages, yet balanced enough to remain timeless across brewing styles. A daily indulgence for those who value both craft and consistency.

Preparation Notes

For the most harmonious cup, we recommend the following as a starting point:

  • Espresso: 18–20g dose, yielding 36–40g in 25–30 seconds.

  • Milk beverages: Pair a double shot with silky-textured milk for cappuccino or latte.

  • Alternative methods: Grind slightly coarser for pour-over or immersion brews, where its chocolate depth and caramel sweetness carry through beautifully.

  • Cold brew: Steep 1:8 overnight for a smooth, refreshing expression of paradise.

Adjust to taste and equipment—our goal is balance, clarity, and a luxurious mouthfeel in every preparation.

A Moment of Paradise: How to Enjoy

Best experienced as the heart of cappuccinos and lattes, where its depth blossoms into silky harmony. Yet its versatility extends to espresso purists, cold brew explorers, and pour-over enthusiasts—each cup a different expression of paradise.

Incredible

"One of the best espressos I’ve ever had. Amazing in milk"

Adam D. (5/5)

This is the one!

"Recently bought a Jura machine and have now tried about 20 darker roasts for the flat whites, cappuccinos and cortados that we drink. Most don’t compare, some are close but nothing is as good as this coffee. Great depth of flavor and aroma, strong but never bitter or sour. Shipping from Hawaii to Illinois is remarkably fast."

Excellent cup of espresso

"I've been enjoying the Espresso Nuevo Dark Roast for my evening sip for late night work. Highly recommended!"

Michael S. (5/5)

Good neat or in cortado

"Dark chocolate-molasses-coffee flavor free of roasty, smoky, and vegetal flavors, good crema and body. Extracted at BR = 1. 8 for 30s from 16g in a Graph45 step down basket using a spring lever profile, with an EY = 21. 9. This coffee measured Agtron 55. 7 so is a mid-medium roast."

DRINK ME

"One of our favorite espresso blends (next to classic from Paradise), its great brewed as a legit espresso, with a basic drip machine, or even cold right out of the fridge. The price is great as well, making it the perfect option for any occasion, be them fancy gatherings or the morning ride to work. It always hits the spot."

Jas N. (5/5)

Not as good as last time!

"The coffee was okay, but not as good as the first time I ordered from this company. I would say it has a dark smoky tasty, but not super flavorful at all."

best coffee i ever tried.

"not really a review person, but i am a coffee person. recently, i feel like anywhere i look, there's mediocre, flavorless coffee everywhere,,, until i found paradise roasters. greatest coffee i ever tried, worth the price tag, will be picking up a whole lot more."

Sorry to say that I am not pleased with your expresso Nuevo dark roast. We loved your coffee at the Hilo store. Your other expresso coffee beans are to expensive for me. I wish you the very best in your business.

"I am sorry to say that I am not pleased with this coffee. We loved the coffee you poured at the store. Your other expresso beans are more than I can afford. I wish you the very best with your business."

What Is 100% Kona Coffee?

100% Kona coffee refers to coffee grown exclusively in the Kona district of Hawai‘i Island — a small, volcanic region
along the western slopes of Hualālai and Mauna Loa. The combination of mineral-rich soil, afternoon cloud cover, and gentle trade winds produces one of the world’s most distinctive coffee terroirs.

To be labeled “100% Kona Coffee,” every bean must be grown within the Kona district and meet strict Hawai‘i grading quality standards. Kona coffee can be made from different arabica varieties, but Kona Typica — a heirloom lineage — remains the region’s most common and traditional cultivar.
