Toffee, caramel, and lemon; fudge, cherry and oak. A classically balanced espresso, delightful straight or as a cappuccino, where cocoa notes bloom in the steamed milk. Plump, satiny mouthfeel.

Coffee growing in Carmo de Minas has been the business of the Pereira family since 1979. When the family started managing the 215 hectares of farmland at Fazenda Santa Ines, it was already planted in coffee, but they opted on planting new varieties and updating the work model in order to improve quality and productivity. The family hired experts to help improve quality, they introduced new harvesting/processing techniques, and they also implemented the newest farm technology available. The coffees from Santa Ines quickly began to stand out in regional and national contests, establishing a reputation of quality amongst the specialty coffee market. In 2005, their entry into Cup of Excellence Brazil took 1st place, with a world record 95.85 score
Last year we introduced this coffee to our Single Origin Espresso line up and it was an instant favorite of ours. Coffee Review scored our S.O. Santa Ines at 94 points, describing it as “A versatile espresso, richly expressive and complex as a straight shot while maintaining its character and authority in milk.”
