Tasting Notes

Toffee and cashew, with caramel, fudge and a lemon-like aftertaste. A classically balanced espresso, delightful straight or as a cappuccino, where cocoa notes bloom in the steamed milk. Plump, satiny mouthfeel.

Background Info

Fazenda Cachoeira de Grama is a 411 acre plot at 950-1100m in Mogiana. 100 hectares of that planted in coffee. They grow Catuai and Yellow Bourbon here. And it is their bourbon that has been a favorite of ours for many years. Many of these trees are quite old, some planted as far back as 1956.

We have frequently used this coffee as a key part of our Espresso Classico and Espresso Nuevo blends.

Fans of classic Italian style espresso blends like our Classico will find a lot to enjoy in this one. Recommended for espresso, americano, and small milk drinks like macchiatto and Cappuccino.
