Ka‘u Geisha Champagne Natural — Pinnacle Collection

Effervescent and luminous, cultivated on the southern slopes of Mauna Loa. A rare Geisha expression, crafted through champagne yeast fermentation.

Estates & Origin: Miranda Farms, Ka‘ū, Hawai‘i Island

This lot comes from Miranda Farms, a pioneering estate in the Ka‘ū district. Once dominated by sugarcane, Ka‘ū has emerged as Hawai‘i’s rising star in coffee cultivation. High elevations, volcanic soils, and cool evening mists produce coffees of radiant character. From this terroir, Miranda Farms’ Geisha variety reveals extraordinary florals, tropical fruit, and sparkling structure.

Character & Style: Radiant, Complex, Refined

Light in roast, this lot reveals aromas of jasmine and citrus blossom, opening into passionfruit, honeycomb, and cocoa nib. Its silken body and effervescent acidity give the impression of sparkling wine — buoyant, dazzling, and exquisitely articulated.

96 Points — Coffee Review (September 2025)
“Exuberant, exquisitely articulated. Notes of concord grape, lychee, star jasmine, honeycomb, and cocoa nib in aroma and cup. Bright yet seamless structure, with sparkling acidity and plush, silky mouthfeel. The finish is long and perfumed, carrying sweet fruit and floral notes deep into the long.”

2nd Place — Hawai‘i Coffee Association, 2025
Recognized as a top-scoring coffee in the state, affirming Ka‘ū’s status as one of Hawai‘i’s most exceptional terroirs.

What Is 100% Kona Coffee?

100% Kona coffee refers to coffee grown exclusively in the Kona district of Hawai‘i Island — a small, volcanic region
along the western slopes of Hualālai and Mauna Loa. The combination of mineral-rich soil, afternoon cloud cover, and gentle trade winds produces one of the world’s most distinctive coffee terroirs.

To be labeled “100% Kona Coffee,” every bean must be grown within the Kona district and meet strict Hawai‘i grading quality standards. Kona coffee can be made from different arabica varieties, but Kona Typica — a heirloom lineage — remains the region’s most common and traditional cultivar.
