Tasting Notes

Peach pie, wildflower honey, caramel, and raspberry; shockingly sweet and fragrant. Even better: it's certified organic, Fairtrade, and a heck-of-a bargain.

Background Info

Super sweet and reminiscent of a honey-processed coffee, this delightful, washed Guatemalan coffee surprised us. It has the comforting characteristics of traditional Central American coffees - chocolate, caramel, and a medium-full mouthfeel - but with the surprising element of ripe red fruit and glazed peaches.

It comes from the eclectic region of Huehuetenango in Guatemala, produced by a cooperative of 1,300 members (400 women and 900 men).

Through funding received by Oxfam, these coffees have been certified organic and Fair Trade.
