Background Info

You know Geisha as the coffee variety with vibrant aromatics and tea-like clarity that became a global sensation when it set a record for the highest price ever paid at auction.

Today, as the variety spreads from farm to farm, Geishas with the same signature flavor that shot them into popularity a decade ago, are easier to find at an excellent value.

This one hails from a small 10-hectare farm in Colombia called Finca El Progreso. The farm owner Pedro Maria Zuñiga operates the farm and mill with the help of his nephews, Mauricio and Jorge. They ferment their coffee without water for 22 hours before being washing and sun-drying for 12–18 days.

At such an excellent value, this Colombia Geisha makes a fabulous gift for those who have yet to experience all that coffee can be. Try it this month in our Compass Collection 4-pack.
