Ethiopia Yirgacheffe Espresso -Mekuriya Gobena
A highly flavorful espresso. Chocolate covered cherries in a demitasse. The fruit and chocolate notes make for a very dessert like cappuccino.
Most Yirgacheffe coffees are sold by the mill they come from. farm sizes tend to be quite small on average and a single mill may process coffee cherries coming from hundreds or even thousands of farms in the area. This is the first time we have ever been able to offer a Yirgacheffe coffee from a single farm.
61 year old Mekuriya Gobena has been growing coffee for 26 years. At 12 acres his farm is quite large for Ethiopia. This coffee was meticulously sun-dried in the entire cherry and then sent to Abebe Muligeta Coffee milling in Addis Abeba
